OLIVIA RODRIGO FALLS ONSTAGE DURING MELBOURNE GUTS WORLD TOUR

During her third Guts World Tour show in Melbourne on October 13, Olivia Rodrigo had a minor mishap when she fell through a stage opening at the Rod Laver Arena, surprising the audience. Videos shared on X and TikTok show Rodrigo recovering quickly, laughing and reassuring fans, saying, “Oh my God, that was fun! I’m OK.” Rising back up, the three-time Grammy winner joked, “Wow, sometimes, there’s just a hole in the stage,” before continuing her set with a smile and asking, “How’re we doing tonight, Melbourne?”

This incident comes just weeks ahead of the release of Rodrigo’s Guts World Tour concert film on Netflix, set to premiere on October 29. Rodrigo shared her excitement for the film, saying, “For those of you who didn’t get a chance to rock out in person, now you can have the best seats in the house!” She added, “I am so glad we get to do it all over again!”

Rodrigo’s 2024 tour will wrap up with an additional show in Melbourne and four in Sydney, with the Guts World Tour set to resume in 2025 at Lollapalooza South America and conclude in Manchester, UK.
